Dumitru Duduman’s Testimony tells of his experience smuggling Bibles past the communist regime, and then he tells of the imprisonment, torture, angelic experiences while in prison, and his road to America. Dumitru and his wife Maria were from Northern Romania and lived on a small farm close to the Soviet border.


He pastored a small country church near their farm. Over an 18-year period (1950’s - 1980’s) he secretly delivered hundreds of thousands of Bibles and aid to the Soviet Union.


Here, is a list of a few other brave souls with a taste of what Dumitru withstood:



On July 24, 1984 Dumitru and his entire family were expelled from Romania by the Communist officials. He had been given two options; either leave the country or die. It was a difficult decision for Dumitru because Romania was all that he had ever known.


He would be going to unknown places where he neither spoke the language nor knew anyone who could help him. Once again, God spoke to Dumitru encouraging him and telling him that all would be well. He had yet another task to accomplish and God would be with him wherever he went.


After leaving Romania, the Duduman family made a brief stop in Italy where there was a failed attempt on his life by the Romanian Secret Police. Soon after, they boarded another plane, and on August 3, 1984 they were on American soil. Once in America, God gave Dumitru a message for this nation as well as for the American church. Life was difficult for the Duduman family during the first years in America but with God's guidance and direction, they persevered.


They started a small ministry called Hand of Help, whose primary purpose at that time was to send food packages and financial aid to the families of Christian brethren who had been arrested for their faith. After the revolution of 1989, Dumitru was able to go back to Romania and see his family.


The desire to help his fellow Christians still burned in his heart, and since 1990, through the work of Hand of Help, he has been able to do so. His purpose has always been a simple one: to be obedient to God's Word and to all that God would ask. He was a tireless advocate for righteousness and purity and he carried on the message of God even while his body grew old and began to revolt against him.


Against his doctor's orders, he continued to travel throughout the world preaching the Word of God until finally in May of 1997, God called his servant home. The following is a first-person account of a warning an angel gave Dumitru about America after he first arrived in the country of America:



Tell them to stop sinning and repent.


"I have blessed this country because of the Jews that are here. I have 7 million Jews here. They haven't tasted war of persecution. God blessed them more than anyone else. Instead of thanking God, they started sinning and doing wickedly. Their sins have reached the Holy one. God will punish them with fire. Israel doesn't recognize the Messiah, because they place their trust on the power of the Jews in America. When God will hit America, all the nations will be terrified.


"God will raise up China, Japan and many other nations and they will beat the Russians. They will push them back to the gates of Paris. There they will make a peace treaty, but they will make the Russians their leader.


All the nations with the Russians as their leader go against Israel. It's not that they want to do. God makes them.


Israel doesn't have the help of the Jews in America anymore. In their terror, when they see what is coming, they will call upon the Messiah. The Messiah will come to help Israel. Then the church of God will meet Him in the clouds (1 Thes.4:16).


Are you ready to meet Jesus Christ? Are your wedding clothes clean? If there are still spots on the clothes of your soul, then the blood of Jesus Christ still has power to cleanse sins. Jesus Christ will live with the Church on the Mount of Olives. He himself will fight against the nations.


I said, "If you are the angel of God, everything you tell me has to be written in the Bible. If it is not, then I can't tell the Americans".


"Tell them to read Jeremiah 51:8-15. He names it 'The Mystery Babylon, The Great Adulteress'. Also, Revelation Chapter 18, the entire chapter. There it says clearly what will happen to America".


Why did he name it, "The Mystery Babylon"?


"Tell them because all the nations of the world immigrated into America and America accepted them. America accepted Buddha, the devil church, the sodomite church, the Mormon church and all kinds of wickedness. America was a Christian nation. Instead of stopping them, they went after their gods. Because of this, He named them "The Mystery Babylon".


You might say, "Why? We trust in God! We have God on our side! On our dollar bill it has 'In God we trust'. How are our lives? We go after the foreign gods. The American church has adultery, fornication, sodomy, divorce and abortion. If we repent with all of our hearts and call Jesus to help us, we will stop sinning. We know that when Jesus comes, we will meet him in the clouds. The angel also said, "Before the internal problems begin in America, your country (Romania) will have a revolution (This prophecy was fulfilled December 22, 1989).

(Dumitru talked about the revolution in March of 1988 over a year before it occurred.)
