It would be hard to overstate the shocking hubris and blind political ambition of Nancy Pelosi’s play to hold Americans hostage during the unprecedented coronavirus crisis. She has been accused of loading up a “socialist wish list” to piggyback on the rescue bill America badly needs, and observers from across the spectrum are enraged.
Pelosi presented a 1400-page, $2.5-trillion proposal chock-full of provisions completely unrelated to the coronavirus and the resulting economic catastrophe. She unveiled legislation aimed at exploiting the COVID crisis by forcing the inclusion of a socialist wish list of policies that have nothing to do with the public health and economic emergency. That was for the last stimulus way back in March of 2020.
The bill in March went on to read: “For an additional amount for ‘Operations and Maintenance,’ $35,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2021, for operations and maintenance requirements related to the consequences of coronavirus:
Provided, that notwithstanding the provisions funds provided in this Act shall be made available to cover operating expenses required to ensure the continuity of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and its affiliates, including for employee compensation and benefits, grants, contracts, payments for rent or utilities, fees for artists or performers, information technology and other administrative expenses.”
One of the things that Pelosi pushed for that stayed in the bill was $25 million for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. One of the arguments for keeping it in was that they had employees that they need to cover like other business entities.
But apparently the money isn’t going to keep all those employees, because even after the bill was signed, the Kennedy Center told the members of the National Symphony Orchestra that they weren’t going to be paid.
So, tell us, Nancy, what was the money used for? Where did it go? And we thought that was one of the things that was supposed to be part of the bill; that it was stipulated that that was the kind of thing it was supposed to be for? At the very least, the Kennedy Center owes Americans an explanation as to where the money is going, and Pelosi owes us that explanation. That was then. Well, folks; as most you know, she did it again.
Eric Trump gave an excellent breakdown of the most recent stimulus package that was passed in the House and Senate despite the tax-funded elected politicians claiming to have only hours to read nearly 6000 pages which offers each American citizen only $600 in stimulus funding.
These funding's include once again the Kennedy Center at $26 Million plus, the Smithsonian $1 Billion, National Art Gallery $154 Million, National Art & Humanities %167 Million, and the W Wilson Center $14 Million. That’s on the Domestic front.
On the Foreign stage the funding to support those harmed by the Covid crisis include Egypt at $1.3 Billion, Sudan $7 Million, Ukraine $453 Million, Israel $500 Million, Nepal $130 Million, Burma $135 Million, Cambodia $85.5 Million, Pakistan $25 Million, and Asia RIA $1.4 Billion.
While the American citizens who voted into office these derelict criminals are awarded a whopping $600. Now do you understand why we must get to the bottom of the voting systems that are designed to steal the elections in national, state, and local elections. ...but our genius President has a plan.
