Q2689 Does the argument 'A NATIONAL VOTER ID LAW would suppress the minority vote' suggest minorities are incapable of obtaining an ID? When is an ID required? Which minorities are they referring to? (illegal immigrants?) Logical thinking.
The Defense Department said on February 6th it sent about 250 troops to the southern border in Texas ahead of the arrival of a migrant caravan currently in Mexico.
The deployment followed the speech where President Donald Trump raised fears over “large, organized caravans” currently “on the march to the United States” in his annual State of the Union address while making the argument for a massive border-wall construction project that has been stymied by Congress.
Responding to the Trump’s call, the Pentagon deployed a Crisis Reaction Force, consisting of military police, medical personnel and engineers, to Eagle Pass, Texas from Arizona. The troops will work with Customs and Border Patrol agents to provide surveillance and help construct barriers for illegal crossings. The U.S. military has been forbidden to take part in domestic law enforcement since the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen asked for additional military forces to reinforce the area where she expected some 2,000 migrants to enter. “Illegal entry will not be tolerated and we stand ready to prevent it,” she said Tuesday in a statement. “DHS will take all steps to ensure the safety and security of law enforcement personnel on the front lines.”
“Tremendous numbers of people are coming up through Mexico in the hopes of flooding our Southern Border,” Trump posted Tuesday on Twitter. “We have sent additional military. We will build a Human Wall if necessary. If we had a real Wall, this would be a non-event!” [1] Video 1

When you are weak, you are not strong. When you are not strong, you do not FIGHT BACK.
This is as real as it gets. They never thought she would lose.
The same day the Defense Department deployed the National Guard, the New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered most of the National Guard troops deployed at the state’s border with Mexico to withdraw, rejecting U.S. President Donald Trump’s contention there was a border crisis.
Most of the 118 National Guard troops deployed in the state will be withdrawn, Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, said in a statement late Tuesday. She called Trump’s frequent declarations of an immigration crisis at the border a “charade.”
This crazy woman plans to use our National Guard to assist with what she refers to as vulnerable migrants when they arrive at our border. Here's another politician who sees the needs of illegal's greater than the people's needs she serves. [2]
Recently President Trump tweeted: The Border Committee Democrats are behaving, all of a sudden, irrationally. Not only are they unwilling to give dollars for the obviously needed Wall (they overrode recommendations of Border Patrol experts), but they don’t even want to take murderers into custody! What’s going on?
So today, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced his plans to withdraw all 360 state troops from the U.S.-Mexico border, as a rebuttal of President Donald Trump’s stance on the national crisis.
Newsome is referring to the national crisis as “political theater” and is claiming the flooding of protecting his citizens is unnecessary and a waste of money. What is wrong with these people? Instead, Newsome is planning to use the resources to counter wildfires and drug smuggling. However, the drug smuggling is coming from the border. None of these Democratic politicians' positions makes any sense. They clearly do not have the best interest of their citizens in mind. [3]
So, with the crisis at our border, and the behavior of the contentious state leaders, is President Trump posturing to call for the National Emergency? I certainly hope so. With the insubordination of politicians throughout the nation, I don't see any other alternative. The thickness of the corruption interwoven throughout our political spectrum, our nation is in the worst crisis I've witnessed in my lifetime.
Last week, in greater Los Angeles and Long Beach, our US Army held war drills throughout the metro area. These drills were enhancing our Army Special Forces skills in urban environments. Residents experienced the sounds of explosions, assault rifle fire, and weapon simulations. There was even a fleet of Boeings and Black Hawk helicopters. As to what exactly the Army was preparing for by simulating war drills on the streets of Los Angeles was beyond comprehension. One thing that is obvious: the Army is preparing for more conflict, whether with a foreign adversary or, more troubling, social unrest on the streets of America? [4]
