Judge Emmet Sullivan has postponed the sentencing of General Michael Flynn, President Trump's first national security advisor after warning General Flynn he could face prison time for lying about his conversation with the Russian Ambassador during the presidential transition and hiding his role lobbying for Turkey. Sullivan extended the postponement until a status report on whether Flynn was ready for sentencing to be due March 13.

Sullivan was appointed to US District Court for DC by Bill Clinton. He is known for criticizing prosecutors for accepting settlements instead of pursuing prosecutions.

Initially, the judge scolded General Flynn and warned him he could be facing prison time for selling out the country. Later the judge apologized to General Flynn for his out of place statement and lack of knowledge that General Flynn had ended his national security advisor position before he became an unregistered agent of a foreign country.

General Michael Flynn is being sentenced for lying to FBI agents. In Flynn's interview, he has admitted to lying to FBI agents about discussions with Mr. Kislyak and officials from other countries about a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Flynn had asked Kislyak to delay or oppose the resolution, but he told FBI agents he didn't take a particular position on the resolution either way. The other lie Flynn is admitting to is about his lobbying work for Turkey in documents he filed with the Justice Department after leaving his office as President Trump's National Security Adviser.

Flynn's attorneys argued the FBI agents failed to advise him before the interview in January that lying to them would constitute a federal crime. The claim is the agents didn't read Flynn his Miranda Rights deliberately to throw him off guard. However, General Flynn is continuing to insist he indeed lied to the FBI. In spite of the flawed interview with FBI; especially Peter Strzok, Flynn continues steadfastly to insist he lied.

It is an injustice to illustrate how unchecked power of prosecutor to play judge, jury, and executioner. The prosecutors have no supervision with no limits, and they know the judges will defer to them every time.

In Flynn's case, Flynn knew FBI had the complete recording of the conversation with their interview. Comey had designed an ambush interview which broke all protocols to set him up in their efforts to destroy President Trump. Additionally, Mueller has suppressed evidence that would exonerate Flynn and destroyed other evidence.

So, Tuesday December 18, 2018, Judge Sullivan offered Flynn an opportunity to reschedule the hearing to allow for more time to complete his cooperation agreement with prosecutors which General Flynn accepted.

This fiasco could cause General Flynn to serve up to six months in prison. However, the federal prosecutors have recommended leniency, since Flynn has helped them with multiple criminal inquiries.

General Flynn distanced himself from President Trump's portrayal that Flynn had been tricked by the special counsel of, Robert Mueller, by telling Judge Sullivan he indeed knew he was lying during his interview.

President Trump tweeted General Flynn his best wishes earlier in the day:

Good luck today in court to General Michael Flynn. Will be interesting to see what he has to say, despite tremendous pressure being put on him, about Russian Collusion in our great and, obviously, highly successful political campaign. There was no Collusion!

George Papadopoulos came into this mess during a 2016 meeting with Joseph Mifsud. Allegedly, Mifsud introduced Papadopoulos to a Russian woman that he falsely claimed was Putin's niece. Mifsud has denied this allegation. Mifsud told Papadopoulos he learned the Russians had thousands of damaging Hillary Clinton emails. From this Papadopoulos told an Australian diplomat in London; Alexander Downer. Downer reported this to American authorities and claimed Papadopoulos knew about Russia's theft of emails from Democratic sources before it was publicly reported. Papadopoulos also denies discussing this topic with Downer.

Remember the Russian female lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr.? Well, a Russian deputy attorney general, who is claimed to have directed Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya in her efforts abroad on behalf of Russia's government, reportedly died October 3rd of this year in a helicopter crash.

This sentencing has been a tragic disgrace to a three star general by the special counsel's investigation of the Russian investigation. This multimillion dollar hoax was a creation born from a fake dossier written by Christopher Steele and paid by Hillary Clinton. So far, this Clinton-Mueller scandal created by the fake dossier as Hillary's revenge has resulted in more than 100 criminal counts against dozens of people and three companies. America is paying a steep price in order to pacify the rage of a sore loser. Regardless of her Russian connections, she projects her evils in order to wreck the lives of everyone else.

General Flynn's attorney Robert K. Kelner wanted to make sure Judge Sullivan would take into account the 19 interviews Flynn has cooperated with prosecutors in before ordering sentencing. On a side note, Robert Kelner; Flynns attorney, works for Covington law firm. Guess who is the Senior Partner for Covington law firm? Why no one other than Eric Holder.

So as you see here, we have the Mueller swamp and the Deep State FBI bringing these charges. Then we have Robert Kelner who works for Eric Holder, and Judge Sullivan who was appointed in this position by Bill Clinton. This is beyond absurd.

During the proceedings, the judge seemed to suggest Flynn's crimes were very serious, and he even asked if Flynn may have committed treason. The prosecutor, Brandon L. Van Grack disputed the crime of treason.

Currently the special counsel's office is investigating if President Trump obstructed justice by asking Comey to end the investigation of Flynn back in 2017. Two other former business associates of Flynn's have been indicted for violating foreign lobbying rules. Allegedly the two men conspired with Turkey in 2016 to pressure the US to expel a rival of President Erdogan. Prosecutors allege Flynn aided those two men in that case.

In arguing for probation, Mr. Flynn’s lawyers had cited his lengthy military service, his cooperation with prosecutors and his contrition.
